Academic Credit for Competing
The primary mission of the University of Washington Moot Court Honor Board is to assist law students in developing advocacy skills through practice and competition. The University recognizes this educational role by offering academic credit to those participating in MCHB's competitions throughout the year.
To obtain this credit, follow the steps below. NOTE: to obtain credit, please complete the following steps by the last Monday of the quarter in which you wish to obtain credit.
(1) Enter your hours in the attached template
(2) Complete the LAW600 form, also available on MyLaw
(3) Send the completed LAW600 form to Academic Services at mylaw@uw.edu
(4) Complete this Google Form, in which you will provide these materials to the MCHB VP of Resources for review
(5) MCHB VP of Resources will confirm receipt of your materials and will follow-up if any additional information is necessary
