Mock Trial Competition

The 2L/3L Mock Trial Competition is an annual competition that gives 2Ls and 3Ls an opportunity to test and sharpen their litigation skills as a trial attorney.  Competitors conduct an entire trial from motions in limine and opening statements to closing arguments. Each team will also have an opportunity to represent both the plaintiff and the defense.

In addition to acquiring and polishing trial advocacy skills, competitors can earn points towards membership on UW Moot Court Honor Board. Participation in the 2L/3L Mock Trial Competition is also a category for selection to the Order of the Barristers.

Each competitor is eligible to receive up-to two (2) Academic Credits for their participation in this competition. The MCHB Faculty Advisor has ultimate say and discretion in approving academic credit requests for this competition.
Past winners can be found on our historical results page.
