Mock Trial Competition

The Mock Trial Competition gives students the opportunity to test and sharpen their litigation skills.  Competitors conduct a full trial from opening statements to closing arguments and will represent both the prosecution and defense.

In addition to acquiring and polishing trial advocacy skills, competitors can earn points toward UW Moot Court Honor Board membership and provide experience for potentially joining a national team.

Participation in the Mock Trial Competition is also a category for selection to the Order of the Barristers.
Students may apply for the Order of the Barristers in the last quarter of their 3L year and, if selected, will be honored at graduation.
Past winners can be found on our historical results page.
